Tickets & Prizes

Prize Drawing

The prize drawings will be held at the South Georgia Regional Library Main Branch on July 30 during the system’s annual Summer Celebration.

Tickets

Fill out the ticket attached to your book log and turn it into a library staff member.  Please keep the ticket attached to your reading log, as you will need both in order to have your ticket entered into the drawing.  Tickets without logs will not be accepted, nor will new tickets be given out.

Note: Do not fill out what is inside the official use box on the ticket.

Incentive Cards

You may earn up to 5 prizes this summer.  When you turn in a complete reading log you must have your incentive card with you in order to get your prize.  A staff member will punch your card and you will be allowed to select an item from the prize box.  Keep track of your card as new ones cannot be issued.

FAQ:

If I win at the branch level, am I still eligible for the system-wide prize?
Yes, you may win both the branch and system prize.

Do I need to register at each branch in order to attend programming there?
No, you may attend programming at any branch in the South Georgia Regional Library System as long as you register for the Summer Reading Program.

Do I have to turn in my reading log at the branch where I registered?
No, your log may be turned in at any branch starting June 6th.

May I read anything to finish my log?
As long as what you are reading is at your reading level, you may read anything that interests you.  We will not give credit for material below your level.

How many chances can I get to enter the prize drawings?
There is no maximum number of entries.  The more you read, the better your odds of winning!

If I have lost my incentive card may I get another one?
No, you are issued only one incentive card.  Please keep track of it as we cannot issue you another.

When is the last day to turn in logs?
All logs must be in by closing on Friday, July 22, 2011.
